The general Alpais Battery Monitoring System has 3 main hardware components; Battery Module, String Module, and Control Module. Alpais BMS is a modular solution that consists of 1 Battery Module for each battery, 1 String Module for each string, and 1 Control Module for up to 4 String Modules. The String Module can connect up to 120 Battery Modules and 1 Control Module can monitor up to 480 Battery Modules on up to 4 String Modules.

The String Module is suitable with every Battery Module. The String Module is responsible for the measurement of String Voltage, String Current, Ambient Temperature, Ambient Humidity, and charge/discharge cycles.
